John Quale is the Founder and Director of ecoMOD since its initiation in 2004 at the University of Virginia School of Architecture and School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is the forerunner and driving force of bringing the project to the University of New Mexico School of Architecture + Planning where he started his position as the Director and Professor of Architecture.

Initially appointed as Project Manager in the Spring of 2016 at UNM SA+P, Donavan has progressed as a leader of ecoMOD and thus, fully integrated himself in its design-build process as the Assistant Director.

As an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Land Art at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture + Planning, Catherine has been an advisor and serving as a guide to the ecoMOD project regarding to Landscape planning and deciding on various sustainable, drought-tolerant plants that could be incorporated into the water system of ecoMOD5.
